Kirkwood Guesthouse is a Traditional charming and cozy 4 star guesthouse in the heart of the central Lake District in a quiet Windermere location with easy access to Bowness. Kirkwood Guesthouse has been recommended for the inclusion in the 'Which Best Bed and Breakfast'. Guests will love our hearty breakfasts with our special cooked English breakfasts or a light diet breakfast or vegetarian alternative if you prefer. Kirkwood Guest House is open all year and as well as our normal tariff we offer off-season and 3-4 night special breaks.Guests are offered a choice of seven attractive spacious Four-poster and standard bedrooms each with individual character and charm all rooms have en-suite. A ground floor room is available for the not so mobile. Our comfortable guest lounge is open for your use at any time. Directions to Kirkwood Guest House
Take junction 36 from the M6 follow the blue sign for The Lakes Stay on the A591 towards Windermere go straight through the Kendal roundabout stay on the A591 and at Windermere pass the main intersection into Windermere and take the next left turn about 100m further on. Carry on straight through the town passed the shops. After the pedestrian crossing at the end of the shops count four turns to the left take the fourth at the slate tower then the first right onto Princes Road we are half way up the road on the right.
